Before the start of the upcoming season of Major League Cricket (MLC), franchise Washington Freedom has given a big responsibility to former Australian team captain and legendary batsman Steve Smith.

It is worth noting that under his captaincy, Smith has led Australia to victory in 21 Tests, 30 ODIs and 4 T20 matches. This will be the first time that Smith will be seen captaining in the MLC.
