The hero of India’s victory in the semi-finals was Akshar Patel, who took three wickets. He was chosen as the Player of the Match for this brilliant bowling. He did not get a chance to play during the group stage matches, but as soon as the Super 8 came, he was made a part of the playing eleven. Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets for 32 runs in four overs against Afghanistan. He took 3 wickets for 19 runs in four overs against Bangladesh. Whereas he took 2 wickets for 24 runs in four overs against Australia. He has performed consistently well and given his consistency, Team India will expect similar performance from Kuldeep in the final as well.
