Akshar Patel had moved forward to take a single, seeing this De Kock threw towards the non-striker end, and the ball hit the stumps directly. The replay clearly showed that Akshar Patel was away from the crease, and he had to return to the pavilion. Akshar Patel played a brilliant innings of 47 runs in 31 balls with the help of 1 four and 4 sixes.

IND vs SA: Virat Kohli hits half century in 48 balls

Before the final, Virat Kohli could not play a single good innings in the tournament, due to which he had to face criticism. But Kohli once again proved that he is a player of big matches. Kohli completed his half-century in 48 balls in the 17th over of the innings. He lost his wicket against Marco Jensen in the 19th over.

Kohli scored 76 runs in 59 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. He also shared a 57-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Shivam Dubey. Shivam Dubey scored 27 runs in 16 balls with the help of 3 fours and a six. Hardik Pandya (5*) and Ravindra Jadeja (2) scored runs.

Keshav Maharaj and Nortje took 2-2 wickets

Anrich Nortje bowled a wonderful spell for South Africa, he took two wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs. Keshav Maharaj also took two wickets for 23 runs in 3 overs. Apart from these, Marco Jensen and Kagiso Rabada took 1 wicket each.
