T20 World Cup 2024: After USA, now Canada has made a big upset, defeated Ireland


In the best match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 played today i.e. on 7th June, Canada defeated Ireland by 12 runs.

In the best match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 played today i.e. on 7th June, Canada defeated Ireland by 12 runs. In this match, all the players from Canada performed very well and played an important role in their team’s victory. Canadian players failed to show good performance against Ireland.

Let us tell you, batting first, Canada scored 137 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Nicholas Kirton batted very well for Canada and played a valuable innings of 49 runs with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes in 35 balls. Wicketkeeper batsman Shreyas Movva scored 37 runs with the help of 3 fours in 36 balls. Pargat Singh contributed 18 runs while Aaron Johnson played an innings of 14 runs.

Ireland’s bowlers bowled very well in this match and kept constant pressure on Canada. Craig Young took two wickets for 32 runs in four overs while Barry McGarthy took two wickets for 24 runs in four overs. Mark Adair and Garrett Delaney took one wicket each.
