After IPL 2024, T-20 World Cup 2024 is to be organized in USA and West Indies in June. According to reports, BCCI may announce the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup at the end of April. Meanwhile, Mohammed Kaif has predicted the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024. Players like Rinku Singh and Shubhman Gill have not been included in the 15-member team that he has selected.

Let us tell you that in the last season of IPL, while playing for KKR in a match against Gujarat Titans, Rinku Singh led the team to a spectacular victory by hitting five sixes in one over of Yash Dayal. Since then he has always been in the headlines and because of his ability he made his debut for India. He played 15 T20s and two ODIs.

Rinku Singh has scored 356 runs in 11 innings in his T20I career at an impressive average of 89 and a strike rate of 176.24. However, former India cricketer Kaif, considering the form of Shivam Dubey and Riyan Parag in the current season of IPL, has included them in his 15-member team, while keeping Rinku Singh out.

He deserves to be in the team – Mohammad Kaif

Kaif (Md. Kaif) said on Star Sports show ‘Follow the Blues’, I will go with Shivam Dubey. He is in great form and plays spin brilliantly. He runs the game very well after six overs. That’s where I would choose Riyan Parag. He is playing exceptionally well and deserves to be in the team.

The former cricketer also selected Rishabh Pant in his team as the first-choice wicketkeeper-batsman. He has kept Shubhman Gill out of the team and kept Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the only two specialist openers. Kaif also included Yuzvendra Chahal.
