In an important match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 played today i.e. on 11th June, Pakistan defeated Canada by 7 wickets.

In the important match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 played today i.e. on 11th June, Pakistan defeated Canada by 7 wickets. In this match, all the players from Pakistan performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Not only this, with this victory, Pakistan has secured two points in the group stage and it can still make its place in the Super 8.

Batting first, Canada scored 106 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The team’s best opener Aaron Johnson batted very well and played a valuable innings of 52 runs in 44 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Aaron Johnson was the only batsman from Canada who consistently played aggressive cricket against Pakistan bowlers. Apart from Aaron Johnson, captain Saad Bin Zafar played an innings of 10 runs while Kaleem Sana contributed 13* runs. Apart from these three batsmen, no other player could cross the 10-run mark.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Aamir took two wickets for 13 runs in four overs while Haris Rauf took two wickets for 26 runs in four overs. Naseem Shah took one wicket while Shaheen Shah Afridi also took one wicket.

Babar Azam contributed 33 runs for Pakistan while experienced batsman Mohammad Rizwan played a match-winning innings of 53* runs. It was because of the valuable innings of these two that Pakistan defeated Canada. Fakhar Zaman once again flopped and returned to the pavilion after scoring four runs.

India recorded the second highest total- In the fourth T20 match, the Indian team won the toss and batted first and scored 283 runs on the board at the loss of one wicket. This is India’s second highest total in T20 International. Sanju Samson played an unbeaten inning of 109 runs in 56 balls with the help of 6 fours and 9 sixes.
