These umpires will umpire in the first match

Let us tell you that the first match will be played between host USA and Canada on June 2. So, Bangladeshi umpires Shahid Saikat and Richard Illingworth will be seen officiating in this match.

Apart from these two, Ricky Richardson will be seen in the role of match referee, Sam Nogajski will be seen in the role of TV umpire. Apart from this, Langton Rusere will be seen performing his duties on the field as the fourth umpire.

20 teams are taking part in T20 World Cup 2024

All 20 teams have been divided into four groups of 5 each. After the league stage, the top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the next round of the tournament.
