Rabada had shown a brilliant performance in the first match of the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh, for which he has been rewarded. Rabada took three wickets in the first innings and 6 wickets in the second innings. Kagiso Rabada also took his 300th Test wicket during the first Test against Bangladesh. He is the third fastest South African bowler (11817 balls) to achieve this feat. Kagiso Rabada reached first place with 860 rating points. Kagiso Rabada reached the first position in the ICC Test bowlers’ rankings for the first time in 2018. He remained at number-1 position till February 2019.
