If the Sri Lankan cricket team wins a match in the Test format, then the match fee which was earlier paid was $7500, but now the players will get a match fee of $15000. So in case the test match is drawn or lost, the amount of match fee will be 12500 dollars and 10000 dollars respectively. On the other hand, regarding match fees and other rewards, Sri Lanka Cricket Board CEO Ashley de Silva said – If a player becomes the best batsman, best bowler, or best all-rounder on the basis of ICC rankings covering all formats, If so, he will be financially rewarded with a lump sum payment.
