Let us tell you that a 13-year-old child died due to electric shock while playing cricket in the area. It is being told that on August 10, the child was playing cricket on a ground in the area, and when he went to fetch the ball from a nearby cowshed, he died after getting stuck to an iron pole present there, which was carrying current. According to information received from police officials, after this incident, they received a call during the day informing them about the death of a boy due to electric shock. The police took immediate action and took the boy to DDU hospital, where doctors declared him dead. At present, the case is under investigation and the police have registered an FIR at Ranhola police station. So, regarding the said case, Outer Delhi DCP Jimmy Chiram said- We received a PCR call on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1.27 pm. It came to Ranhola police station regarding the death of a boy due to electric shock. After this, the team that went to investigate found that the boy playing cricket in Kotla Vihar Phase-2 got electrocuted after coming in contact with the iron pole carrying electricity to the cowshed. He was immediately taken to DDU Hospital by PCR van, where he was declared dead. A case has been registered under Section 106 (1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and investigation is underway. The child’s mother gave a statement Regarding the incident, the mother of the deceased child said- My son, who was a class 7 student of a government school, went to play cricket with his friends on Saturday. He went to the Gaushala to get the ball. He got an electric shock from the pole carrying the electricity wire in the Gaushala. Many small children go to the ground to play cricket and this can happen to anyone. When my son was dying, no one came forward to save him. My elder son was shouting there to save his life, but not a single person asked the Gaushala people to switch off the electricity.
