Mohammed Shami said, ‘I spent a lot of time with Rishabh Pant at the National Cricket Academy where he was rehabbing after recovering from injury. I saw his pictures which were really quite scary. What encouraged me the most was that the brilliant wicketkeeper-batsman was nowhere to be seen unhappy. He was always seen laughing. He was not even able to walk properly but he completed his rehab laughing. This encouraged me a lot and I also got to learn a lot. His positive thinking made me understand the importance of staying calm. Mohammed Shami expressed his views regarding the bowling session after the first test against New Zealand. Mohammed Shami further said, ‘I enjoyed doing the bowling session with Abhishek Nair. Before all this, I was bowling with half the run-up because I did not want to put too much load on my body. We decided yesterday that in the last two sessions I will bowl with full strength and give my 100 percent. The results also turned out to be quite positive and I have full hope that I will be back on track very soon. Currently the team is playing a test series against New Zealand. After this, India has to play a five-match Test series against Australia in which Mohammed Shami can also be seen participating.
