The much-awaited second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to begin on February 23. The first match of the tournament will be played between the two finalists of the inaugural edition. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on last year’s runners-up Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This match will start at 7.30 pm (IST). According to the schedule prepared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Royal Challengers Bangalore will face UP Warriors in the second match. After the eliminator on March 15, the summit clash will be played on March 17. Both the matches will be held in Delhi.
