On the other hand, now after the end of the series, Pakistan’s limited overs format interim coach Jason Gillespie has given a big statement. The former cricketer says that there were some flaws in Australia’s batting, which Pakistan’s excellent bowling unit has brought to the fore in front of the world. Jason Gillespie gave a big statement After winning the ODI series against Australia, Jason Gillespie while talking to Sydney Morning Herald said – In this series we saw that our bowling exposed some flaws in the Australian batting. I’m sure the Australian players will look to correct some mistakes and improve on some things. That’s what good players and good teams do. You learn, adjust and adapt and are ready for the next challenge. Gillespie further said- We had anticipated this, and this is the nature of modern cricket, and it is up to the selectors and coaches to manage their players in the best way. Australia chose to do this, it was quite clear that this three-match ODI series was not one of the highest priorities for Australia. On the other hand, now the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and Australia is going to start from November 14. It will be interesting to see how Pakistani bowlers perform in this series?
