Sunil Gavaskar gave a big statement about Hardik Pandya During an interview with Rev Sports, Sunil Gavaskar was asked, ‘The player who taught Indian cricket fans the meaning of Test cricket, do you think Team India will win in Australia and also win the WTC title?’ To this, Gavaskar said, ‘Yes, of course he can do that. I think efforts should be made to persuade Hardik Pandya to play Test cricket for the next two months. If he bowls 10 overs in a day and bats in his style, it will be impossible to defeat the Indian team and in such a situation, Team India can win in Australia and then win the WTC title as well. Hardik Pandya has played a total of 11 Test matches in his career so far and has scored 532 runs in 18 innings, while taking a total of 17 wickets in 19 innings. Hardik Pandya also has a century in his name in Test cricket. Hardik made his Test debut in 2017, but he has not played any Test match since August 2018.
