Hosting of Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier 2024 awarded to Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub

This fantastic tournament will be played in the months of April and May. The top 2 teams of this tournament will participate in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 which will be played in the months of September and October this year. The host nations UAE, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Zimbabwe and Vanuatu will take part in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier 2024. The 2022 edition of the tournament was also played at the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub with Bangladesh and Ireland having qualified. This year, five teams each will be divided into two groups. Double header matches will be played on two different pitches. These matches will be held at Zayed Cricket Stadium and Tolerance Oval.
