He believes that many other major franchise cricket leagues are already in a strong position and the Hundred has been able to attract only a limited number of international fans. In a recent interview given to Cricbuzz, Lalit Modi had said that by investing in The Hundred tournament, he wants to make it a 10-team tournament. Also, with the conversion of the 100-ball game to T20 format, the team purse should be increased to $10 million (Rs 83 crore).
