“Fast bowling is not easy, to master it…” – Navdeep Saini’s statement on being out of Team India

The 31-year-old made his debut for India a long time ago and has played two Tests, eight ODIs and 11 T20 matches so far. However, he could not perform with consistency there, due to which he has been out of Team India since July 2021. However, Saini is focused on performing well in the DPL and after the Lions won their first game, the right-arm fast bowler is focused on the match against Delhi-6. Fast bowling is not an easy task- Navdeep Saini Navdeep Saini from West Delhi Lions said, “We had a really good first match and everything went according to our plan. Everyone was supporting each other during the game, it was the first time for all of us to play together and we did it really well. As a team when you win the first match it really helps the team to move forward.” He further said, “We have prepared very well for today’s match. Our process has been the same, what we did before the first match, we have done the same for today’s game. Our practice has been really good.” Furthermore, Saini said that he has always tried to focus on his fitness. Moreover, he pointed out that discipline becomes extremely important to excel in the art of fast bowling. Saini said, “Ever since I started playing cricket, I have always focused on my fitness. Fast bowling is not easy, you have to work hard day and night to master it. If you want to become a fast bowler, you must be disciplined.”

The auction for the first season of Delhi Premier League is going to be held on 28th July. Also, the auction of players for the first season of the tournament will be held on July 28, and a total amount of Rs 49.65 crore has been released for the purchase of 6 teams. Rohan Jaitley gave a big statement So, in a recent interview to Times of India regarding the tournament, Rohan Jaitley said- Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini, Harshit Rana and other Indian players will participate in the first season of DPL. I spoke to Rishabh Pant and he has promised me to participate in the league, but it depends only on his availability and national commitments. But for now he will play, Navdeep and Harshit will also join the league. Also, the tournament’s brand ambassador and former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag said – The league will definitely be a great opportunity for those players who work hard in the nets and have not got a chance in any big tournament. When I used to play in my early days, we didn’t get this kind of opportunity to play in different leagues. Now that my son is playing, I am happy that he will get those opportunities.
