According to the Kathmandu Post, NPR 20.47 million will be given to the men’s cricket team members and coaching staff to qualify for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be co-hosted by West Indies and America from June 1. Nepal men’s cricket team has created history by qualifying for the tournament. After making their debut in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, the Nepal team is ready to participate in the tournament for the second time. Each of the 15 members of the national team will be given NPR 1.3 million as a reward for their stellar play. Nepal is part of Group D Nepal is part of Group-D in the T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit Paudel will captain the team in the tournament. Nepal will play its first match against Netherlands on June 4. After which the team will face Sri Lanka (12 June), South Africa (15 June), and Bangladesh (17 June). If the team manages to make it to the top-2 at the end of the group stage, then it will be a part of the Super-8.
