PCB appoints David Reid as mental performance coach ahead of T20 World Cup

Let us tell you that PCB has appointed David Reid as the new mental performance coach of Pakistan cricket team. Also, let us tell you that before this multinational tournament, PCB has appointed Simon Helmot as fielding coach and Gary Kirsten as head coach for white ball format. It is noteworthy that before joining the Pakistan cricket team, David Reid had worked as a mental and skill conditioning coach with Chennai Super Kings in the 2021 IPL season. Apart from this, he has worked in the same role for Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League. So now before the upcoming T20 World Cup, he is going to join the Pakistan cricket team before the England tour. Pakistan Cricket Board gave a big statement Let us tell you that on the appointment of David Reid, Pakistan Cricket Board said through a media release – On the recommendation of the team management, PCB has appointed Simon Helmot as the fielding coach to help the players for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and mental performance. David Reed has been included as coach. David will join the Pakistan cricket team on May 20, while Helmot is expected to join the team by May 31. Aftab Khan, who is currently working as the fielding coach, will take over as the high-performance coach after Helmot’s arrival.
