It is noteworthy that the 9th season of Champions Trophy will be played in the hosting of Pakistan. So recently, PCB shared the list of arrangements made for the tournament with ICC. If Geo News is to be believed regarding the organization of Champions Trophy in the country, then the top officials of PCB assured the ICC member board that the three stadiums (Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi) which are undergoing renovation work, will be ready before the start of the tournament in February. If this happens then the Indian cricket team can play its Champions Trophy in UAE. Apart from UAE, names of Sri Lanka and South Africa can also be seen. So if we talk about the tournament, its 9th season is ready to be played. It was last organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2017. During that time, Pakistan won the title for the first time by defeating India.
