According to information received from police officials, after this incident, they received a call during the day informing them about the death of a boy due to electric shock. The police took immediate action and took the boy to DDU hospital, where doctors declared him dead. At present, the case is under investigation and the police have registered an FIR at Ranhola police station. So, regarding the said case, Outer Delhi DCP Jimmy Chiram said- We received a PCR call on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1.27 pm. It came to Ranhola police station regarding the death of a boy due to electric shock. After this, the team that went to investigate found that the boy playing cricket in Kotla Vihar Phase-2 got electrocuted after coming in contact with the iron pole carrying electricity to the cowshed.
