The board official said that KL Rahul If he is not fit then why is he posting his batting videos on Instagram. By doing this he is sending wrong signals to the board. Team India’s batsman Rahul was out of the second test against England due to injury. He was included in the squad for the last 3 Tests, but on Monday itself BCCI told that Rahul is not fit and he will not be able to play the third Test. Quoting NDTV Sports, a BCCI official said, “If the BCCI medical team knew that Rahul’s injury was serious then why did they allow Rahul to be included in the squad? And why are players sending wrong signals by posting videos of their batting on Instagram Stories? BCCI official says that Rahul shared the video, that is why they felt that he is fit to play. In the press release, BCCI had said, “KL Rahul, whose availability for the remaining three Test matches was dependent on fitness, has been ruled out of the third Test against England in Rajkot. “Rahul has reached 90 percent match fitness and is making good progress under the supervision of the BCCI and the medical team.” Karnataka’s promising left-handed batsman Devdutt Padikkal has been named as Rahul’s replacement for now. In his most recent Ranji Trophy match, 23-year-old Padikkal scored 151 and chairman of selection committee Ajit Agarkar was watching his innings from the stands. He has been in great form this season. After starting with 193 against Punjab in the opening game, he scored 103 against Goa.
