Reports said that Mayank had trouble in his mouth and throat as soon as he boarded the plane, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Agartala, the capital of Tripura. However, now he is said to be out of danger and his condition is better at present. However, even though his condition is stable, doctors have advised him to take rest for 48 hours. During this time, it will be difficult for him to speak due to ulcers and swelling. Meanwhile, Karnataka team manager Ramesh has confirmed Mayank Agarwal’s return to Bengaluru, where he will be under the observation of doctors. After a few minutes Mayank felt a burning sensation in his throat and vomiting. He immediately informed the air hostess and went to the washroom near the cockpit. He further said, the air hostess immediately rang the emergency bell and checked if any doctor was available on the flight. Unfortunately, there was no doctor, so the pilot was informed and a message was sent to the airport authority. Then the doctor came to see Mayank and said, we cannot give first aid here. He needs to be admitted to hospital. Police report lodged After this incident Mayank Agarwal has lodged a police report. The incident led to the postponement of his visit to Surat, where Karnataka was to play its next Ranji Trophy 2024 match. The right-handed batsman led Karnataka to victory against Tripura, but now he will not be able to play in the match against Railways in Surat from February 2 to 5.
