(Image Source: Getty Images) England’s tour of India 2024, IND vs ENG: Former England cricketer Steve Harmison (Steve Harrison) and Test captain Ben Stokes (ben stokes) have come face to face regarding the upcoming Test series against India. Steve Harmison believes that the England cricket team’s chances of victory in the upcoming five-match Test series to be played in India will depend on their preparation. The cricket commentator further said that if England comes to India three days before the first Test match starting on January 25, then Ben Stokes’s team deserves to lose against Team India by a margin of 5-0. England deserve to lose the series 5-0: Steve Harmison Steve Harmison said on the TALKSport cricket podcast: “If England go to India three days early, they deserve to lose the series 5-0, they really deserve to be beaten. I am an old man. And this is what they’re going to say: ‘Times have changed, the game has changed.’ Read here: Kieron Pollard appointed assistant coach of England team for T20 World Cup 2024 But I tell you, the preparation has not changed. You can neither go to India with less preparation nor with too much preparation. You can arrive in India six weeks in advance and still not be prepared for that emotion.” Ben Stokes hits back at Steve Harmison After which England captain Ben Stokes has now reacted to Steve Harmison’s statement and said that he will organize a camp in Abu Dhabi before the tour of India and this will be enough for his preparation for the Test series. Needed Ben Stokes wrote on Let us tell you, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamshala will host five test matches between England and India. Good job we’re going to Abu Dhabi for a training camp before we go to India for even more training before that 1st test then isn’t it. https://t.co/2Q0qCOEbFO — Ben Stokes (@benstokes38) December 28, 2023 5 Indian bowlers who have taken 500 wickets in the fewest innings in international cricket 4 South African opening batsmen who have scored 50+ scores most times in Test cricket Best playing 11 of the year 2023 5 batsmen who have scored the most centuries in test cricket away from home (active players) 5 Indian players who have scored the most runs in Tests against South Africa (Active Players) 6 Indian batsmen who scored centuries in South Africa Top 5 players sold in IPL 2024 auction 5 most expensive players sold in IPL history 3 players who have taken more than 500 wickets in test cricket for Australia Top 3 players who scored most runs as captain in IPL
SA v IND: Team India is missing that one player a lot – Dinesh Karthik’s big statement

Dinesh Karthik Rohit Sharma (Photo Source: Twitter) Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik said that the Indian team is missing the injured Mohammed Shami in the ongoing Boxing Day Test against South Africa at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. 33-year-old fast bowler Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the 2023 ODI World Cup. He was rested for the series against Australia and South Africa. It was expected that Shami would play an important role in the two-match Test series against the Proteas, but due to an ankle injury, he was ruled out of this series as well. On the second day of the Boxing Day Test, India scored 245 runs thanks to a brilliant century from KL Rahul, after which the hosts ended the day with a score of 256/5. Dinesh Karthik gave a big statement regarding Mohammed Shami Speaking to Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik said, “He (Mohammed Shami) has grown in stature as a bowler and leader of the fast bowling group. He is an able lieutenant of Jasprit Bumrah. You want to bowl with a straight seam on a pitch like this. I promise you that, if he had played, he would have definitely got some wickets. The Indian team is really missing him. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj took two wickets each for India. On his Test debut, Prasidh Krishna gave 61 runs in 15 overs and took one wicket. Seam-bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur could not take a single wicket giving 57 runs in 12 overs. Karthik felt that Prasidh and Shardul did not provide enough support to Bumrah and Siraj on the second day. Karthik further said, “Shardul Thakur and Prasidh Krishna were going close to 118 runs in their 27 overs. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj gave only 111 runs in their 31 overs. Siraj was a bit expensive, especially in the last spell as he bowled some brilliant balls. You could see that whenever he was on the field you felt that he could get you a wicket or two. Whereas with Shardul or Prasidh, you have to wait for the batsman to make a mistake.” Also read: Former cricketers criticized Rohit Sharma’s captaincy
