BCCI announced the schedule of the domestic season with major changes, toss was removed from this tournament

This season fans will get to see some big changes in domestic cricket. The Ranji Trophy will be held in two phases, with the league stage in October and the knockouts in February. The domestic season will begin on September 5 with the prestigious red-ball cricket tournament, the Duleep Trophy. This will be followed by the Irani Trophy in October. Limited overs cricket will begin with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which will begin on November 23. This will be followed by the Vijay Hazare Trophy, which will begin on December 21. The Deodhar Trophy has been dropped from the schedule once again, which was last added after a gap of four years. BCCI removes toss from CK Nayudu Trophy Talking about the changes in the domestic season, BCCI has proposed a new change for the CK Nayudu Trophy, in which the toss is being abolished.
