(Image Source: BCCI-IPL) IPL 2025: Preparations for the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are in full swing and all the franchises are busy finalizing the retention plans of their players before the October 31 retention deadline. However, some ambiguities have emerged in the IPL 2025-27 player regulation document shared by BCCI, due to which the franchises are in a dilemma. What is the confusion in BCCI guidelines, why are all the franchises worried? In the six-page document released by BCCI, RetentionInformation like salary cap, match fee and performance pay is given. But, some of the points given in the footnote have confused the franchisees. Actually, in the document Player 1 (Rs 18 Crore), Player 2 (Rs 14 Crore), Player 3 (Rs 11 Crore) A price list is given for , but the footnote states: “The total amount of retention is Rs 75 crore, irrespective of the amount paid to the players. If the total amount exceeds Rs 75 crore, the actual amount will be deducted. Even if the total amount is less than Rs 75 crore, there will be a deduction of Rs 75 crore.” This directive has raised many questions among the franchises as to what will be the correct process to retain players. What is the reaction of the franchisees? “This footnote is confusing us,” said a senior executive of a franchise. Can we set our own prices for players, or do we have to follow the price tags given to them? If the total retention value exceeds Rs 75 crore, it will be deducted from the salary cap, but if it is less, there will still be a deduction of Rs 75 crore.” He further said, “If franchises have the right to decide the price of players as per their choice, then what is the meaning of the amounts of Rs 18 crore, Rs 14 crore and Rs 11 crore?” Demand for clarification from BCCI franchisees have BCCI Clarification has been sought on this footnote. Another officer said, “This is the most important part of the process, and we are hoping that BCCI will issue clear guidelines on this soon.” The franchises are hopeful that BCCI will release a guidelines document in the next few days, in which all the points will be explained in detail. The officer said- “Right now we only have indications, but we are hoping that BCCI will soon release a 30-40 page document which will give us complete information about all the rules.” This uncertainty has left the franchises in a dilemma, and they are waiting for a detailed clarification from the BCCI to clarify their strategies. IPL 2025 The retention process of players is an important part of the IPL, and all franchises want clarification as soon as possible to understand the process correctly.

KL Rahul met LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka, what is the significance of this meeting, understand?
During IPL 2024, there was a tussle between LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka and captain KL Rahul. KL Rahul meets LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka KL Rahul meets LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka: Led by KL Rahul, Lucknow Super Giants performed brilliantly in their first two seasons of IPL and reached the playoffs. But things did not go well for both Lucknow Super Giants and KL Rahul during IPL 2024. During the tournament, there was a lot of commotion and tension between franchise owner Sanjiv Goenka and captain KL Rahul. After this, there are reports that KL Rahul may now leave the franchise. At the same time, LSG is also considering its new captain and management. However, meanwhile, there is news that KL Rahul has met LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka regarding retention for IPL 2025. KL Rahul met LSG owner Goenka “Yes, Rahul came to Kolkata and met Dr Goenka at the RPG head office. He has clearly told Dr Goenka that he wants to be retained. However, until the BCCI brings in a retention policy, the LSG management would not like to chalk out its plans,” an IPL Governing Council member, who is privy to LSG, told PTI on condition of anonymity. “Look, Rahul wants to be retained but until LSG knows how many are to be retained and what the new purse is, they cannot commit to anyone,” the IPL source further added. Rahul may have to come in the auction At the moment, it is being said that even if LSG retains Rahul, which is unlikely, he will not be the first retention. Retaining players like KL Rahul means that a huge amount can be deducted from the purse. And no franchise would want to invest such a huge amount (18-20 crores). It is also being said that the kind of batting style KL Rahul has is not suitable for T20 cricket. Apart from this, the franchises for which Rahul has captained have not been very successful. This is the reason why KL Rahul may have to come to the auction again, where he may not be in much demand. According to reports, Lucknow Super Giants’ deal with Zaheer Khan has been finalised and he will be announced as the mentor soon.
Neeraj Chopra’s silver medal in Paris Olympics is like Team India’s defeat in World Cup 2023! Understand the whole matter here
Chopra had to be content with the silver medal in the javelin throw competition. Neeraj Chopra (Image Credit- Twitter X) The final of the javelin throw competition was played on 8 August at the Paris Olympics. Let us tell you that in this final, Neeraj Chopra, who was a strong contender to win the gold medal, had to settle for the silver medal. However, Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan created a new Olympic record by throwing the javelin at 92.97 meters and won the gold medal. So today in this article we will try to look at this silver medal of Neeraj Chopra from the cricket perspective: Neeraj Chopra’s silver medal was like India’s defeat in World Cup 2023 We can see many similarities between Neeraj Chopra’s silver medal in the Paris Olympics and the performance of the Indian cricket team in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Because Team India came to the World Cup after winning the Asia Cup 2023, and was in excellent form. So something similar happened with Neeraj Chopra, as he won gold medals in the World Athletics Championship 2023 and Asian Games before participating in the Paris Olympics 2024. Chopra’s form was also amazing just like Team India. The Indian team did not lose any match in the World Cup in the league stage, and after that, it won the semi-finals and made it to the finals with 10 wins. Team India was a strong contender to win the finals, just like Neeraj was to win the gold medal in the Olympics. Whereas India was playing cricket on its home ground. So just like Team India lost against Australia in the World Cup, something similar happened to Neeraj in the Olympics with Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan. Neeraj has defeated Nadeem in all the competitions held before this, but yesterday on 8th August, in the javelin throw competition, he threw a brilliant throw and secured the gold medal. But this should not have happened to Neeraj and Team India on the day of the final. But it has to be accepted that after being informed, both times Team India and Neeraj have been overpowered by their opponents in the final. During both the matches, every Indian fan kept watching with rapt attention and thinking that had this not happened, Team India could have won the World Cup and Neeraj the gold medal. Team India could have ended the 13-year drought by winning the World Cup on Indian soil, while Neeraj could have become the greatest Indian track and field athlete by winning two consecutive gold medals at the Olympics. But perhaps this was not meant to happen. However, after this, the Indian cricket team’s dream of not winning the ICC trophy was fulfilled after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, but now Neeraj will have to wait for four years to win the gold medal again. So if everything goes well, then fans can see Neeraj and the Indian team winning the gold medal together in the Olympics to be held in Los Angeles in…
Pakistani journalist had to pay a heavy price for messing with Harbhajan Singh, he said openly- did you understand the meaning or should I explain it…
Let’s know what Harbhajan said Harbhajan Singh (Image Credit- Twitter X) Recently, former legendary spinner of the Indian cricket team Harbhajan Singh has given a befitting reply to a Pakistani journalist through social media, in which the journalist had tried to make fun of Bhajji on the social media platform X. It is worth noting that this time ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in Pakistan. However, it is not yet clear whether India will go to Pakistan for this tournament or not? Due to security reasons, BCCI has also not made any picture clear. Also, some time ago Harbhajan Singh had said that if the Indian government feels that the Indian team may face a security threat in Pakistan, then it should not go there. Regarding this, Pakistani journalist Farid Khan tagged Harbhajan Singh on X and shared a photo in which Shahid Afridi had hit 4 consecutive sixes to Harbhajan during a test match. This is probably the reason for your fear. While replying to Farid, Harbhajan shared the photo of the terrorist attack on Sri Lankan team in 2008 and wrote – No, not for this, there are wins and losses in cricket. I will tell you the real problem. Check the photo given below. You must have understood the meaning of F.. or should I explain it. F means your name, don’t think what came to your mind. It is worth noting that this time Pakistan has the hosting rights of Champions Trophy 2025. However, there is no ray of hope yet for the Indian cricket team to go to Pakistan and participate in this tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) says that they can send the Indian team to Pakistan only after getting the green signal from the Indian government. At the same time, there is also a possibility that if India does not go to Pakistan, then like the Asia Cup, India can play its matches in either UAE or Sri Lanka under the hybrid model.
IND vs SL: Harbhajan Singh got angry on not selecting these 3 players!, said- it is difficult to understand that…
The Indian team has to play a limited overs series against Sri Lanka from July 27 Harbhajan Singh (Image Credit- Twitter X) The Indian team has to play a limited overs series against Sri Lanka from July 27. Team India has also been announced for this. Suryakumar Yadav has been given the captaincy of the T20I team, while Rohit Sharma will lead the ODI series. Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh has questioned the decision of the Indian selectors to exclude Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma from their respective formats for the Sri Lanka tour. Sanju Samson scored a brilliant century in his last ODI match against South Africa in December 2023. Despite this, he was not selected in the ODI team. At the same time, Abhishek Sharma made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe and scored a century in the second match itself. However, now he has been dropped from the T20I team. Many people found the decision to exclude Yuzvendra Chahal surprising. Because the experienced spinner was a part of India’s T20 World Cup winning team last month. But he could not play any match in the tournament. And now he has been shown the way out of the team. Harbhajan Singh’s strong reaction Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has reacted strongly to this.
