So on the second day of this auction, 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the youngest player to be sold in the IPL auction. Vaibhav had kept his base price at Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction. But there was a bidding war between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals to buy the young player. But in the end Rajasthan included the player in the team by making a huge bid of Rs 1.10 crore. On the other hand, now after Vaibhav made a new record in the IPL auction, his father Sanjiv Suryavanshi has given a big reaction. The young cricketer’s father says that he has worked hard to achieve this position. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s father gave a big statement After Vaibhav Suryavanshi was sold in the IPL auction, his father quoted News 18 as saying – He is now not just my son, but the son of entire Bihar. My son has worked hard. At the age of 8, she performed brilliantly in the Under-16 District Trials. I used to take him to Samastipur for cricket coaching and then bring him back. Also, let us tell you that Vaibhav Suryavanshi had recently scored a century in Test cricket for India Under 19 team against Australia Under 19 team in Chennai. He also became the youngest Indian player to do so. Vaibhav had scored 104 runs in 62 balls in that match. Apart from this, he has also made his debut for Bihar against Rajasthan in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Saturday. In this match he scored 13 runs in 6 balls. Also, if some media reports are to be believed, his father had sold his farming land to make Vaibhav a cricketer. However, now the hard work of the young player has started paying off.
