As per Article 3.2.3, umpires may reject a DRS decision if they believe the players have received input from outside the field, particularly from the dressing room. Article 2.15 of the ICC’s Code of Conduct also prohibits players from seeking off-field assistance to make a decision on a review, with potential penalties including suspension. Although the umpires did not object to the review during the match, Ali and Tanjim could be charged with a Level 3 offence if found guilty of the alleged breach.
