The Cricket Association of Nepal hosted a wonderful event called ‘Celebration of Nepal Cricket’ in Kathmandu. During this wonderful event, they also unveiled the ‘Nepal Premier League’ T20 franchise tournament and its new logo.

Many young players of Nepal will be seen performing well in this franchise league tournament. Not only this, young players will also get to learn a lot from experienced cricketers. Let us tell you, this tournament will be played from 30 November to 21 December. During this great tournament, Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Choudhary launched the tournament logo. Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Choudhary, National Sports Council Member Secretary Tankalal Ghising, CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand and Secretary Paras Khadka gave speeches in the program.

Bumrah took 8 wickets in both the innings of that Test match and for this he was chosen Player of the Match. In the match, India achieved a spectacular victory within four days and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
