The Pakistan Cricket Board had already informed about this that construction is going on at the Karachi Stadium at this time as it is one of the three venues of the Champions Trophy 2025. Not only this, the Pakistan Cricket Board had canceled the ticket booking for the fans and also said that people would get their refund.

The Pakistan Cricket Board said in its statement, ‘There will be a lot of dust in the construction work and this can also affect the health of players, officials, broadcasters and media. This is why we are changing the venue of the second test.’

We are constantly talking to Architects: PCB

The Champions Trophy 2025 is starting from February 19 and Karachi Stadium is one of the venues for this important tournament. Before the start of this tournament, the England team will also play a three-match Test series in Pakistan in the month of October. Regarding this, the Pakistan Cricket Board has said that they are in constant talks with architects.

PCB further said, ‘We cannot say much at this time. We are in constant talks with the people who are working and the architects. Our plan is to get the stadium completely repaired as soon as possible and we will also give an update to the England and Wales Cricket Board before the Test series.’
