Also, for your information, let us tell you that this is not the first case of scuffle on the field in cricket. Earlier also scuffles have been seen in many domestic and international matches. It is worth noting that a similar incident was also seen in the Celebrity Cricket League held in Bangladesh last year.
This incident happened in that tournament due to a dispute over the umpire’s decision and after this serious chaos spread. The seriousness of the incident was such that the official organizers had to cancel the league. After this the knockout matches of the tournament were not seen.
Apart from this, this incident was seen in a match between Pakistan and Afghanistan during the Asia Cup 2022 in international cricket, in which the dispute between the players reached the stage of a scuffle. In that match, bowler Farid Ahmed took the wicket of Asif Ali and after taking the wicket, he went to Ali and celebrated.
There was chest-bumping between the players of both the countries. After this, the ICC fined both of them 25 percent of their match fees for violating Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
