Speaking on Rishabh Pant’s recovery journey after recovering from a serious injury, Dhawan expressed happiness over Pant’s return to the field. Let us tell you that Team India’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will be seen spreading his magic in IPL 2024.

He is part of Delhi Capitals (DC). The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared Pant fit on Tuesday. The 17th season of IPL will start from March 22. Pant had a terrible car accident in December 2022. He suffered many injuries in that accident. After that Pant also had surgery. Veteran batsman Shikhar Dhawan is very happy to see Pant’s return to competitive cricket. Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Dhawan is confident that Pant will be able to make a splash after coming out of the difficult phase.

Shikhar Dhawan gave a big statement regarding the return of Rishabh Pant

Dhawan said at the Star Sports event, “I am very happy to see Rishabh Pant in action again. I am very excited. He survives a terrible accident. This is all thanks to God. In the last one year he has worked extremely hard and kept a positive attitude. He was in a lot of pain in the beginning. He was not even able to move in the first few months. He was not able to do anything.

Even to use the toilet he would need someone’s help. Pant has shown a lot of patience, positivity and tolerance from that difficult time till now. This is a big thing. This has definitely given him a lot of strength and I am sure he is going to do wonders for himself and the country.”

Let us tell you that the Punjab team will play all its home matches in the upcoming season of IPL at the new Maharaja Yadvinder Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, which is a new stadium. Here more than 30 thousand spectators can watch the match simultaneously. Dhawan said, “This is a new stadium, where there are a lot of seats for the spectators. There is a new pitch here, but home matches have been played on it.

When we play we get experience. We get to know what the wicket is like, how to play on it, what the game plan should be, what we should not use. It comes with experience and if we make it a big thing in our mind, it becomes bigger. If we had not done this then it would not have been a big thing.”
