The Big Bash League (BBL) is an Australian T20 cricket league. Cricket Australia started this league in 2011 with eight franchises. Cricketers from Australia and international cricketers from around the world participate in this league. Cricket Australia also hosts the Women’s Big Bash League. This tournament is also played like IPL.

Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder participate in this tournament which is held between December to February.
