In fact, for the first time in any franchise league tournament, a Super Over has been played three times between any two teams.

Talking about the match, Hubli Tigers batted first and scored 164 runs losing all wickets in 20 overs. Captain Manish Pandey scored 33 runs for the team while Mohammad Taha contributed 31 runs. Anushwar Gautam scored 30 runs while Manvant Kumar L made an important contribution of 27 runs. In reply, Bengaluru Blasters also scored 164 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Mayank Agarwal played a brilliant innings of 54 runs for the team while Suraj Ahuja scored 26 runs. Naveen MG contributed 23 runs.

After the match between the two teams was tied, the first super over was played in which Bengaluru Blasters scored 10 runs after losing one wicket. In response, Hubli Tigers also scored 10 runs in the first super over. After this, the second super over was played between the two teams in which Hubli Tigers, batting first, scored 8 runs without losing a wicket. Many fans felt that Bengaluru Blasters would easily achieve the target of 9 runs. However, this did not happen.

Bangalore team scored 8 runs after losing one wicket in the second super over. Many people were surprised to see that for the first time three super overs were being played in a T20 match.

Hubli Tigers won in the third super over

Let us tell you, in the third super over, Bengaluru Blasters batted first and scored 12 runs after losing one wicket. In reply, Hubli Tigers won the match by hitting a four on the last ball of the third super over. Never before have three super overs been played in any match in T20 cricket.

Not only this, this is the third edition of the tournament and for the first time 3-3 super overs were played in the Maharaja Trophy. With this victory, Hubli Tigers have secured the first position in the points table of this important tournament. Whereas Bengaluru Blasters are at the third position in the points table with 8 points.
