Harris lost his temper so much due to the fan’s words that he ran to hit him. The bowler’s wife and the people present there tried to stop Harris. During this, Harris was heard saying, He (fan) must be from India, this is not your India,
Responding to which the fan said, I am from Pakistan. Harris then questioned the upbringing of the fan. Haris Rauf has now admitted his mistake that he should not have used the word Indian.

Pakistani ARY news channel anchor Wasim Badami spoke to Haris Rauf on Wednesday (19 June). And the bowler admitted his mistake and said that he should not have used the word Indian, he got angry at that time.
Haris Rauf told Wasim Badami, ,Wasim bhai, he is from Pakistan. What I said was in anger and I shouldn’t have said that.’ Harris is being criticized a lot in the entire cricket world for taking India’s name. Former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali has also called it Harris’s stupidity on a live TV channel.

After the video went viral, Haris Rauf gave his reaction and wrote on social media,

As public figures, we are open to all kinds of reactions from the public. They are entitled to support or criticise us. But when it comes to my parents and my family, I will not sit quiet. It is important to show respect to people and their families, no matter what their profession is.
At the same time, the Pakistani cricket fraternity is showing solidarity and supporting Haris Rauf. And has strongly criticized such fans.
