Batting first, Delhi scored 257 runs for 4 wickets. The top-4 batsmen of Delhi batted brilliantly. Jake Fraser scored 84 runs, Abhishek Porel scored 36 runs, Shai Hope scored 41 runs and Tristan Stubbs scored 48 runs to help the team score a big score.

“The game is becoming more competitive these days. Earlier the margin of victory used to be of a few overs, now it is the difference of the ball. If I had to pick one reason where we missed the match, I would say we took risks and scored runs in the middle overs. But left-handed batsmen should have batted against Axar Patel. It didn’t work out for us game-wise. Jake Fraser McGurk played very well, taking risks with the bat and using the ground well. His innings reflects his fearlessness.”

Tilak held guilty of defeat
