Pakistan’s journey in the T20 World Cup 2024 was very embarrassing. However, Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali believes that Babar Azam has not performed badly in recent ICC tournaments except the 2023 World Cup in India. Hasan also called Babar Azam the king of the Pakistan team’s batting unit and also said that he sees improvement in all aspects in him.
Babar was playing the ODI World Cup held in India for the first time. He was the third-highest run-scorer for Pakistan with 320 runs in nine matches at an average of 40. Only 4 half-centuries came from his bat, but he could not give a match-winning performance even once. The result was that the Pakistan team was eliminated from the group stage itself.
