India lost against Zimbabwe under the captaincy of Shubman Gill.
Team India is currently on a tour of Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series. The first T20I of the five-match series between the two teams was played yesterday at Harare Sports Club where India faced defeat. After losing the first match by 13 runs, an unwanted record was registered in the name of Indian captain Shubman Gill. With this defeat, he has joined the shameful club of MS Dhoni.
Actually, India’s T20I record against Zimbabwe has been quite impressive. So far, 9 matches have been played between the two teams, in which India has won 6, while they have faced defeat 3 times. In the three matches in which India has lost, the team has had different captains. Shubman Gill is the third Indian captain to lose to Zimbabwe in this format.
Before Shubman Gill, India has lost to Zimbabwe under the captaincy of these two captains
