During an exclusive conversation with Crictracker, former Australia captain Tim Paine and former batsman Shaun Marsh shared their views on central contracts and cricket selection. Recently, both these players put forward their views on the central contract of the players during an exclusive conversation with Crictracker.

Tim Paine said, ‘Players have many options at this time and we should reduce these franchise leagues cricket and promote those from which talented players can be seen emerging like IPL. ICC should now make strict rules about what is necessary and what is not. You also want that Test cricket should be better and more and more players should participate in it.’

Shaun Marsh said about this, ‘It is good to see that players have a lot of options, but when I started playing T20 cricket, it was very difficult for me too. It is very important for the players to understand that playing in international cricket is an honour.’

The second semi-final match will be played between India Champions and Australia Champions

The second semi-final of the World Championship Legends will be played between India Champions and Australia Champions today i.e. on 12th July at County Ground, Northampton. The performance of both these teams has been very good so far.

Shaun Marsh has batted very well in this tournament so far and he would definitely want to leave his mark in the semi-finals as well. India Champions is captained by Yuvraj Singh in this tournament and the team has also shown excellent batting and bowling throughout the tournament.
