This is not the first time for former Australia captain and wicketkeeper batsman Tim Paine that his cricket journey is giving him another opportunity. This time he has got this opportunity not as a player but as a coach.

It is worth noting that in the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) season, Tim Paine will be seen coaching the 2017-18 season champion team Adelaide Strikers. Let us tell you that this is the first time in Paine’s career that he will be seen coaching a franchise team.

So let us tell you that Tim Paine has been a part of a total of 11 seasons in the Big Bash League from 2012 to 2022. During this, he was seen giving memorable performances for the Hobart Hurricanes team.

Tim Paine gave a big statement

Let us tell you that regarding his new role in BBL, Tim Paine was quoted by The West Australian as saying – I don’t want to share much about what I want to do, but I was the same when I played, I wanted to play at the highest level. I want to coach at the highest level, where I am not sure, whether it is league cricket or Shield cricket, who knows how high I can go. I am obviously excited to be given this opportunity.

Penn further said- I’m sure the coaches I’ve played with will tell you that I have a lot of ideas. I think they’ll be laughing a bit now, and saying, well Penny, you can go out and show us if you can do it. I’m looking forward to implementing some of the ideas that have been in my mind for a long time, which is going to be exciting. It (coaching) is going to be a challenge.
