Australia’s young fast bowler Tom Straker bowled brilliantly and took 6 wickets for 24 runs in 9.5 overs.

In the second semi-final of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, Australia defeated Pakistan by one wicket and made their place in the final of this fantastic tournament. The young players of Australia performed very well in this match and played an important role in their team’s victory.

Let us tell you, Pakistan U19, batting first in this match, scored 179 runs after losing all the wickets. In this match, Australia’s young fast bowler Tom Straker bowled brilliantly and took 6 wickets for 24 runs in 9.5 overs. No batsman from Pakistan had any success in front of Tom Straker.

For Pakistan, Azaan Awais scored 52 runs in 91 balls with the help of 3 fours while Arafat Minhas scored 52 runs in 61 balls with the help of 9 fours. Shamyl Hussain contributed 17 runs. Apart from these three players, no other player could cross the 10-run mark.

Tom Campbell scored 25 runs while Raf McMillian made an important contribution of 19* runs. Not only this, winning runs also came from his bat. For Pakistan, Ali Raza took four wickets for 34 runs in 10 overs. Apart from Raza, Arafat Minhas took two wickets for 20 runs in 10 overs. ‘Jasprit Bumrah is a joke’ – shocking statement of former English bowler after Perth Test

Bumrah took 8 wickets in both the innings of that Test match and for this he was chosen Player of the Match. In the match, India achieved a spectacular victory within four days and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
