It was a year of “what could have been” for Team India. After dominating the World Cup, came a very bad day, that too in the final. Travis Head played an important role in both the finals of the World Test Championship (WTC). It is expected that in the coming year, India will start winning championship tournaments, as they have not been able to do so for 1 decade. All the best to Team India in the coming year and always.

It is noteworthy that the Indian team had made it to the knockouts of the last three ICC tournaments, but could not win the big matches. India was defeated by Australia in the final of the World Cup Test Championship in June last year.

So in the T20 World Cup 2022 held in Australia, India had to face a crushing defeat at the hands of England in the semi-final match. Apart from this, in the Cricket World Cup 2023, India won all the matches consecutively and made it to the finals, but in the finals it once again had to face defeat from Australia.
