Afghanistan’s star player Rashid Khan is currently seen playing for Spin Ghar Tigers in the Shpageeza Cricket League 2024. Rashid Khan’s team had to face defeat by 26 runs (under DLS) in the last match against Amo Sharks. But Rashid won the hearts of the fans with his dashing batting.
In the rain-affected match, Amo Sharks batted first and scored 166 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 17 overs. Spin Ghar Tigers got a DLS target of 139 runs in 12 overs to win, but the team could only score 112 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Rashid Khan’s explosive batting stole the show
While chasing the target in the match against Amo Sharks, Spin Ghar Tigers lost 5 wickets for just 20 runs. No batsman was able to reach double digit score. However, captain Rashid Khan made the condition of the opposing bowlers worse with his power hitting.

Rashid also made a big contribution with the ball
Rashid Khan shared a 73-run partnership with Ikram Ali Khil and brought the team back into the game. He hit three consecutive sixes in 4 balls in an over bowled by Mohammad Gul Alizai. The all-rounder then lost his wicket against Mohammad Gul Alizai in the 9th over. Rashid also contributed with the ball, taking one wicket for 20 runs in a spell of three overs.
