Arshad Nadeem defeated India’s Neeraj Chopra to win the gold medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw final.
Paris Olympics 2024: Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal by defeating India’s Neeraj Chopra in the men’s javelin throw final. Nadeem created history by throwing 92.97 meters in the second throw in the final, this throw has become an all-time Olympic record. India’s Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal by throwing 89.45 meters, while Grenada’s Peter Anderson won the bronze medal by throwing 88.54 meters.
The Pakistan cricket team is overjoyed after Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal. The Pakistan Cricket Board has shared a video on social media in which the players of the Pakistan-A team are celebrating in the hotel room.

In the video, Sarfraz Ahmed, Umar Gul, young player Mohammad Hurriya and many other players are seen dancing with joy on Arshad Nadeem’s victory. Some players have also given a special message in the video congratulating Nadeem on his victory.

Former and current Pakistani players have congratulated Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem on his victory through social media.
Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared the video on social media and said,
