Former South African cricketer and former India head coach Gary Kirsten has recently been appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan team. He has now joined the Men in Green ahead of the start of the T20 World Cup 2024. Currently, under his leadership, Pakistan team will face England in a three-match T-20 series before the World Cup.
Gary Kirsten has arrived in Leeds ahead of the first T20 match to be held at Headingley on Wednesday, 22 May. During this, on his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Pakistan captain Babar Azam, men’s team assistant coach Azhar Mahmood and team manager Wahab Riaz.

Let us tell you that earlier the Pakistan team has made changes in its coaching staff after appointing Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie as the white ball and red ball coaches respectively.
