India won the last match of the T20 series against South Africa by 135 runs and captured the series 3-1. Batting first, India put 283 runs on the board in the match due to the century innings of Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson. Chasing the target, the South African team was all out for 148 runs in 18.2 overs.

After the end of the series, Ravi Bishnoi got the award for the fourth T20 match and Tilak Verma got the Impact Fielder of the Series award, the video of which is making headlines among the fans.

Tilak Verma received the Best Fielder of the Series award

In the fourth T20 match, Ravi Bishnoi took an excellent catch of South African captain Aiden Markram off the ball of Arshdeep Singh, for which he was given the Best Fielder Medal. There were three contenders for the Impact Fielder of the Series, which included captain Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma. Surya revealed in a special way who won this medal.

The captain had a letter, which contained the name of the medal winner. Surya opened the letter, went to Sanju Samson, shook hands with him and told that Tilak Verma has won the medal. After this scene the players and support staff started laughing loudly. Coach VVS Laxman presented the medal to Tilak, after which Tilak won hearts with his one-liner speech. Reiterating Rinku Singh’s statement, he said ‘God’s Plan’.

Team India will play test series against Australia from 22nd November

The next assignment of the Indian team is now the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, starting from November 22. The first match of the series will be played in Perth, for which the team is sweating profusely. The team had to face 0-3 defeat in the last Test series against New Zealand. The team would like to show deadly form against Australia and would also like to secure a place in the final of the World Test Championship 2023-25.
