Let us tell you that Barmy Army had reportedly taken permission from BCCI Secretary Jai Shah to play music. He had demanded to play music during the match through social media platforms.

Talking about the match, the Indian team scored 445 runs in its first innings after losing all the wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma played an innings of 131 runs in 196 balls with the help of 14 fours and 3 sixes. Ravindra Jadeja’s innings ended at 112 runs, which included 9 fours and 2 sixes.

Apart from this, debutant Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel also performed well. Both the batsmen scored 62 and 46 runs respectively. Mark Wood was the most successful bowler for England. He took 4 wickets.
