In a thrilling match on 18 April in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Mumbai Indians defeated Punjab Kings by 9 runs. In this match played at Yadvindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Chandigarh, Punjab Kings needed 12 runs to win in the last over and they had one wicket in their hand. Akash Madhwal was bowling for Mumbai.
Chasing the target of 193 runs, the Kings’ innings was faltering at one point at 14/4.
