PBKS vs MI: The 33rd match of IPL 2024 was played on 18 April between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Mullanpur. Mumbai Indians won this match by 9 runs by all-out Punjab. After losing the toss, Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 192 runs for 7 wickets. Opener Ishan Kishan was out cheaply, but Rohit played a brilliant inning of 36 runs in 25 balls.

Suryakumar Yadav once again showed his strong form, Surya scored 78 runs in 53 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 7 fours. Rohit and Surya made a good partnership of 81 runs which further increased the hopes of Mumbai Indians’ victory. After this, Tilak Verma also played an important inning of 34 runs in 18 balls. Then Team David was out on 14 runs. In the last overs, Punjab came back into the match and stopped Mumbai’s run and did not allow Mumbai to reach the 200-run mark. For Punjab, Harshal Patel took 3 wickets while Sam Curran got 2 and Rabada got 1 wicket.

However, now a video regarding this match is going viral on the internet. This video is from the first innings of the match in which Tim David was seen giving some signals to Suryakumar Yadav. In this video, he signaled to take review from the dugout which was captured on camera.

Arshdeep Singh bowled the ball and the umpire did not declare it wide. But then from the dugout, Tim David, Kieron Pollard and Mark Boucher singled Suryakumar Yadav to take DRS. Sam Curran indicated that he was giving him a signal from the dugout, but the umpire ignored him and the decision went to the third umpire. The umpire finally declared it a wide ball.

Seeing this video, the fans are very angry and are calling Mumbai Indians cheaters. In the last match also, this trio of Mumbai Indians was found arguing with the umpire regarding timeout.

Talking about the match, Ashutosh Sharma scored 61 runs and Shashank Singh scored 41 runs for Punjab Kings who were chasing the target. All the top order batsmen failed in this match and Mumbai Indians all out Punjab and won by 9 runs.
