CSK won the toss and chose bowling
Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and chose to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders. Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders suffered a big blow on the very first ball. Phil Salt returned to the pavilion for a golden duck against Tushar Deshpande. A great partnership seems to be blossoming between Sunil Narayan and Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Kolkata Knight Riders have scored 56 runs at the loss of one wicket in the powerplay.
